Under the slopes of Framsko Pohorje, in the middle of meadows, fertile fields, flowering orchards and forests, the Uranjek Organic Farm is home. The homestead, known to locals and guests as Pri Baronu for more than two centuries, today writes one of the most beautiful ecological stories, as the family nurtures the harmony between man and nature with respect and love. As a welcome welcome, they offer brandies with chokeberry, nettle and mint, which pleasantly support homemade sausage on spelt bombet with a slice and pickled chamomile blossom. Large soups to warm up are followed by creamy champagne soup with toasted bread cubes and hearty beef soup with noodles. At Baron, get ready for the right individual. Buckwheat and buckwheat blood sausage are perfectly complemented by roasted cabbage prepared with Pohorje bunk and cracklings. On the table there are also juicy ribs of Krškopolje and crispy fried chicken accompanied by roasted potatoes, buckwheat porridge, seasonal vegetables with buttered kohlrabi and kale au gratin with young cheese. So much variety, so many flavors, that one wonders where to even start. We say – start with the first bite that calls you, and end with Pohorje gibanica and elixir for a long life.
