Gault&Millau's review 2026

DiVino is located on the ground floor of the Crystal Palace, but it quickly becomes clear that it is more than just another restaurant in a modern business district. The space combines contemporary elegance with the character of the Brda region, featuring a bright interior, rustic details, and a green terrace that comes to life during the warmer months. During our visit, we enjoyed dishes that let their quality speak for itself. The sea bass carpaccio impressed with its delicacy and freshness, enhanced by fennel and fresh orange. The tagliatelle with Istrian truffles announced themselves before they even reached the table, their aroma setting the tone for the dish. The menu also offers a strong selection of meat dishes, including slow-roasted pork belly, braised beef cheeks, and beef fillet. Each reflects the restaurant’s focus on quality ingredients and well-executed flavours. Dessert came in the form of a tiramisu: light, creamy, and indulgent without being heavy, providing a fitting end to the meal. A distinctive feature of DiVino is its use of house-produced ingredients. From cured meats and warm homemade bread to house spirits and sparkling wine aged beneath the sea, these products add another layer to the story the restaurant tells through its food and wine. Between the dishes, the wines, and the influences from Brda, it becomes easy to forget the pace of the city outside. What remains at the table is what matters most: good food and the pleasure of giving in to flavour.
