JB Restaurant is one of those culinary establishments whose reputation needs no loud proclamation. Family-owned, it has grown into a fine dining institution, attracting guests who expect not only excellent food but a complete and well-rounded experience. Today, the restaurant is led by brother and sister: Tomaž Bratovž in the kitchen, while Nina oversees the wine list and service. Their work is defined by quiet elegance, precision, and an eye for every detail. The tasting menus elevate local ingredients into the realm of contemporary signature cuisine, with aesthetically composed dishes that are thoughtfully conceived down to the very last bite. A special place belongs to the chef’s signature raviolo. Delicately rolled pasta envelops a filling in which subtlety meets intensity – a dish that brings many guests back time and again. The wine list is also an important part of the experience. Overseen by the house sommelier, it offers a carefully curated world of wines, guided by a knowledgeable hand capable of finding the perfect pairing for each dish and adding another layer of enjoyment to the evening.
