At Mirje, there is no need to rush - at least not once you are seated at the table. The kitchen draws inspiration from Italian culinary traditions without being constrained by them. The meal often begins with lighter starters such as sea bass carpaccio or creamy burrata. Pasta occupies a special place on the menu, with classic Italian combinations that require little explanation. The dishes speak through their sauces, textures, and balance of flavours rather than through elaborate descriptions. Meat lovers also have plenty of reasons to visit. One of the standout dishes is the Milanese-style veal rib chop, traditionally cooked in butter. It arrives with all the confidence of a true Italian classic: beneath its golden, crisp coating lies tender and juicy veal, while the delicate breading provides the dish’s unmistakable character.
