At the foot of the hiking trails, overlooking the mighty mountains, there is a restaurant that relies on authentic flavors and the peace of nature. Venison has a special place on the menu – carefully selected, seasonally prepared and served with a sense of the environment from which it comes. The plates bear the stamp of the flavors of the forest, the field and the stream. Lovers of nostalgia are pampered with traditional Slovenian dishes. Štruklji are prepared according to old recipes, but with various fillings, including sweet ones, they bring the culinary heritage closer to the more modern tastes of guests. Ripened rump steak is just right baked to reveal a full, juicy flavor along with the pepper sauce in your mouth. While the sophisticated trout from the creek impresses with its freshness, the menu reveals another specialty that you would not expect in this green valley: a touch of exoticism with Indian dishes full of characteristic spices and aromas. Gorenjska homeliness, freshness of ingredients, local tradition and exotic culinary impulses are successfully intertwined into a rich experience. The right place for all those who want to enjoy traditional and slightly different dishes after an active day in nature, as well as for those who prefer to admire the magnificent peaks from the comfort of a hospitable guesthouse.
