Kaval builds its identity around a distinctly Mediterranean spirit that begins with the atmosphere and continues onto the plate. The culinary inspiration leans strongly toward Italy, particularly Tuscany, where memorable meals are often founded on a simple principle: exceptional ingredients, careful preparation, and a table around which people are happy to linger. The restaurant is especially well known for its pizzas and homemade pasta. The sauces deserve particular praise, bringing depth and richness to each dish while coating every strand of pasta with just the right amount of flavour. Seafood enthusiasts are equally well served. Octopus emerges from the wood-fired oven while grilled fish highlights the kitchen’s preference for allowing quality ingredients to speak for themselves.
