The Kovačnik farm is located in a magical location on the edge of the forest, surrounded by wide pastures and meadows, and the homestead offers unforgettable views of the valley and the surrounding Pohorje peaks. Ancient recipes are intertwined with a touch of modern originality, and the menu is in perfect harmony with nature. It breathes with the rhythm of Pohorje, from fresh spring herbs to hearty winter delicacies. A richly coated and juicy welcome dish, dried meats from their cellar and delicious spreads will delight you with authentic flavors. Real beef broth warms the soul and body. Roasted roast veal is tender, juicy and full of flavour, as well as roast pork and crispy fried chicken accompanied by a range of side dishes: fluffy cottage rolls, buckwheat porridge with boletus and vegetables, roasted potatoes, fried pears with semolina, apple chutney and winter salad whitened with excellent pumpkin seed oil of our own production. Juicy Pohorje gibanica, prepared according to the carefully guarded recipe of Grandma Angelca, is a tribute to tradition and flavors that will not be forgotten.
