Stazione Parenzana is hard to miss as it is situated on a strategic spot along the road in Seča, but you certainly cannot miss it if you’re hungry. Their most famous speciality is grilled meat, including Jack Daniel’s ribs, served on a wooden board with a side of baked potato wedges. They are also known far and wide for their juicy burgers, refreshing salads and their own craft beers. The tables are often full, which says it all. But don’t worry, if you’re willing to wait a bit, they will find a table for you. The place is suitable for both small gatherings and larger groups, and the staff is skilled, fast and helpful. Just “across the road” is the Sečovlje Salt Landscape Park, which is worth visiting before a hearty lunch; after a walk among the salt pans, a plate of hot ribs, a burger or a cold beer will be just what you need.
