Gault&Millau's review 2026

Just a few minutes from the city’s hustle and bustle stands Ošterija Pr’ Noni. Its terrace overlooking the Mali Graben creek, surrounded by greenery and a more relaxed atmosphere, creates the feeling that the city has momentarily drifted away. The restaurant combines indoor dining rooms, a covered terrace, a smaller pavilion, and an open terrace by the lawn. It is therefore a popular choice for a variety of occasions, from family lunches and business meetings to larger celebrations. The menu moves between Mediterranean and Slovenian cuisine while incorporating some more contemporary influences. Guests can choose from pasta, risotto, meat and fish dishes, seafood platters, grilled specialties, and a few Asian-inspired options. During our visit, the ravioli with prawns in a lemon cream sauce stood out. The dish relied on a proven combination: delicate pasta, succulent prawns, and a creamy sauce brightened by a gentle citrus freshness. Desserts are equally well represented. Panna cotta, tiramisu, crème brûlée, chocolate and almond cake, mango cream with passion fruit jelly, and apple strudel offer plenty of choice for those who enjoy ending a meal on a sweet note. Ošterija Pr’ Noni does not rely on a single signature dish. Instead, it presents a broad range of flavours in a green and peaceful setting, allowing every guest to find something that suits their taste.
