Kavarna Rolca is one of those cafés where the morning begins with the aroma of freshly baked pastries and coffee. It is a scent that is hard to resist and draws many locals in from the early hours of the day. Their offer is built on simple things done well: from house-made rolls and cakes to bread, traditional potica, and small pastries that never feel repetitive or ordinary in the display case. The signature specialty is, of course, the Celje roll: made from walnut dough, coated in chocolate, sprinkled with nuts, and filled with whipped cream. The café has a contemporary feel, yet retains the warmth and comfort of a traditional coffeehouse, which is exactly why guests enjoy returning.
