For more than half a century, Kresnička has held a special place in the hearts of dessert lovers. Generations of Ljubljana locals have made their way there from all corners of the city in search of what many consider the finest indijanček around. The customers have grown up over the years, and so has Kresnička, yet the indijanček remains exactly as it should be. The selection also includes chocolate hedgehogs (ježki), cake pops, tiramisu served in a glass, and a variety of cakes available to order. Choices range from chocolate and Sachertorte to the signature Kresnička cake with raspberries, as well as blueberry and cheese cakes with wild berries. The youngest visitors - and the young at heart - are especially fond of the excellent homemade ice cream, which remains one of the pastry shop’s enduring attractions.
