Gostilnica 5-6 kg attracts both guests who appreciate robust meat dishes and those who prefer vegetarian fare or Neapolitan-style pizza. Among the starters, Cigoj’s cured meats reign supreme, while the duck terrine is particularly memorable. From there, the menu leads through dishes such as risotto with sun-dried tomatoes and a rich meat lasagna, before arriving at heartier mains: Krškopolje pork chop, suckling pig shank, lamb, or a fish fillet. The cottage cheese pancakes au gratin are pure nostalgia on a plate, evoking comforting childhood memories, while the pizzas, with their beautifully blistered and airy crusts, proudly extend beyond the edges of the plate. Special-menu days are especially worth a visit. Whether the kitchen is serving stuffed peppers, smoked sausages with sauerkraut, or pašta fižol (a traditional bean and pasta stew), these rotating specialties provide yet another reason to return.
