The offer on one of the most beautiful Maribor terraces is like an island in the middle of the sea. Wishing to have a menu that is different from all the others, they have decided to offer excellent seafood. Treat yourself to a glass of cold sparkling wine and enjoy the view of the soothing river Drava while waiting for your food. Very soon, you will get excited to see a table of starters: fresh oysters, cod fish spread, Istrian prosciutto and some aromatic cheese from Pag. They will grate some tuber onto your fuži pasta and after the cuttlefish risotto, you will keep licking your lips. Another one or two scallops, a fresh prawn and then time comes for a nice sea bass or sea bream fillet from the oven. It is true that these are the standard Adriatic plates, but enjoying them by the river Drava is priceless. The wine list is rich so that wine connoisseurs can easily choose the right wine pairings with their dishes. If you don’t feel like having seafood, you can order some delicious Pohorje roast beef, chicken or different pieces of Black Angus beef. The food isn’t just incredibly tasty – the chef’s team truly makes an effort to choose wonderful vegetables and other sides. They also offer tasting menus (six courses for 62 euros, seven courses for 71). Because the restaurant is located in a hotel in the centre of the old part of the city, it offers a great option for a walk along Lent where you can find another nice wine pit stop. A beautiful and wholesome experience
