A unique novelty that we have added to our latest edition of the Knowledge Under the Hat educational workshops is a talk with a top local representative from the world of gastronomy.
Theevent, where chef Jure Tomič from Ošterija Debeluh in Brežíž will answer your questions, will take place on 16 December at 10:00 at the Secondary School of Catering and Tourism in Novomeš, and will be streamed live on the Gault&Millau Slovenia Facebook page. This is an opportunity for all interested parties to take an active part in the conversation by asking questions, gaining additional knowledge and enjoying a pleasant interaction with the chef in a virtual world.
"I believe that knowledge is the right way to raise the quality of gastronomy," says Mira Šemić, stressing that she is aware of how much students want to have direct contact with chefs. "That's why we were looking for a solution to give them a closer proximity to a live meeting, even in these event-averse times," she explains of the decision to hold this year's event online.
