A sea-inspired story in the heart of Goriška brda vineyards! At Bužinel, you can hear the sea waves coming from the plates, be it a gentle splash or a passionate roar. Regulars here don't read the menu, they know the daily offer depends on the catch or the fisherman's luck. The plate of raw sea delicacies is unforgettable, the ingredients are first class and fresh. The minerally-sweet taste is elevated with wonderful olive oil that excites even the greatest foodies. What they offer is sometimes quite impressive and it is hard to choose the appetiser. After the whole table agrees to come here again, it is slightly easier to decide which dish to give up that day. One thing is for sure though: we will not skip the buzara-style shellfish! It is their most renowned dish and you will sing praises to it for days to come, without a doubt. Pasta, especially with crab, risotto, fish, both grilled and oven-baked, scampi … whatever you choose, you will not regret it. The heart of the restaurant are Katja and Elvis Bužinel, together with their sons. Because the love for winemaking is passed from generation to generation, it is not to be feared for the future of this family-run restaurant. When you relax by the pool after your meal, with a glass of wine in hand, admiring the hills covered in vineyards, you will look forward to the next beautiful and tasty experience at Bužinel.
