A family boutique hotel with a bright, nicely decorated and spacious restaurant in two levels, with a romantic summer garden and a wine cellar where wine connoisseurs from Slovenia and abroad love to spend time. The Perkolič family knows how to make each and every guest feel welcome with their personal but professional approach. Apart from the classic dishes we all know and love (beefsteaks, calamari, octopus salad …) they stress local and seasonal ingredi - ents, especially when you order a fish or meat 4-course tasting menu where you get invited into their wine cellar for some cheese tasting at the end. They also organise wine tastings supported by homemade delicacies. We paid 39 euros for three plates. The tempura shrimp is a perfect dish for those who want something more than just a classic and the slow cooked veal cheeks with cottage cheese štruklji as well as the pork belly excite both hikers and skiers who visit the restaurant with an empty stomach. They also offer unique sausages and salami from Ribnica called BioSing. Their pasta is always homemade, among others also special sorts with spelt or kamut flour. Ice cream is also homemade. Everything you find on your table is tasty and pristine with a hint of sophistication while the well trained and friendly team wins you over with their wide smiles – you can see that they truly love what they do!
