Superb from A to Z! We put our trust in the hands of attentive staff who took care of us unobtrusively, but professionally. We started our culinary get-together with focaccia that called out to us together with young juicy duck breast and enticingly silky wild garlic spread. We continued with hand cut beef tartare, served with some slightly bitter dandelion pesto, crunchy radish, and Jerusalem artichoke, which, with its sweetness, complemented the bitter dandelion nicely. Raw scampi with their sweet and milky taste together with lemon, orange, olive oil emulsion and mint leaves were freshness personified and reminded us of some faraway lands one would like to travel to. We continued our meal with milky suckling pig that took our breath away with its crispy skin, and soft and juicy meat. The grand finale came in the form of a heavenly house dessert. Those who wish their plates to be filled with unique and delicious combinations that are also a sight to behold will always find that here. Another reason to come back is that time runs a bit differently in this place, just like Krka river that runs slowly and sleepily under the restaurant. Reservations are mandatory though, Hiša Fink is namely very popular both among locals and culinary enthusiasts from around the country who know where to go for a delicious meal.
