The world-famous Lijak is a paradise for special breeds – paragliders and hang-gliders. At Kamp Lijak with places for mobile homes and campers, there is also a restaurant in a modern pavilion, covered in wood. Wife Martina Logar Mladovan and husband Aleksander Mladovan have brought warmth into a place with lots of space, natural light, wooden elements and a lovely atmosphere. They truly believe in what they do and the passion that drives them with the camp and restaurant is paying off already. This is a place everyone, not only people from the camp, love to visit because every foodie in Slovenia has already heard about it. They offer everything you can think of: from fish and pasta to risottos and grilled meat. They are especially proud of their tomahawk steaks. The soft tagliatta is perfectly done and river crab with buzara sauce smells amazing. They want to be different than all other restaurants, so their plates are daring and youthful – they marry homemade ravioli filled with beef tail with chocolate sauce, the wild boar back with hemp crust and the orange sorbet with truffle foam. They offer 5-course vegan, fish or meat menu and those who enjoy desserts will also love this place.
