Istrian cuisine and cuisine from Primorska intertwine with Venetian culinary in this lovely family restaurant at the entrance of Piran. The atmosphere is truly special and it is no wonder that people from Slovenia and abroad love to come back every single time they visit the Slovenian coast. Leave you car in the Fornače garage house and after a few minutes’ walk, you will be able to enjoy an authentic experience. Do book a table in advance, otherwise it is very likely that you will stay without your divine seafood tasting. Start with marinated sardines, cold fish starters or their famous Piran fish soup. The filled cuttlefish will leave you speechless. The menu is orchestrated by the daily catch of fishermen and mussel growers who always bring the freshest fruits. The chef married tuna with rucola and sea bass with porcini mushrooms. Otherwise, seafood is the best grilled or prepared in a delicious buttery sauce. They also make excellent pasta and risottos. The owners are incredibly welcoming, which makes your stay even more pleasant and the food even more delicious. A classic at its absolute best!
