Master Svetozar Raspopović - Pope has made the most famous restaurant in Ljubljana legendary. Many stories have taken place in the noble dining room and under the Caucasian wingnut, a mighty tree that has become the central symbol of the restaurant. Every day should be lived to the fullest and there are many reasons to celebrate life and enjoy it. Their ace are excellent ingredients, especially Mediterranean; the dishes are light and offer a magical combination of metropolitan and local that makes the guests feel like they have been warmly embraced, especially when the owner starts grilling. Homemade pasta al dente with Carniolan sausage or aged Karst beefsteaks tell the story of Karst where Pope owns a vineyard and produces wonderful macerated Malvasia. The salt-baked sea bass or the grilled shrimp are great stories of the Adriatic Sea. The red shrimp in rice tempura, embraced with Spanish Patanegra or slices of Kobe beef take you for a walk around the world. When you taste the blueberry cake, the night becomes perfect. We paid 48 euros for three plates and they also offer tasting menus. Next to As restaurant, there is also As Aperitivo with a bistro offer, which becomes a trendy meeting place in the evenings and during the weekends.
