Together with his wife Martina, the young owner Blaž Staroverski tells a new culinary story of the metalworking village called Kropa. After having sailed the world’s seas, he found his happiness back home. A 400-year-old house was renovated with love and is now full of antiques and metalworking equipment. In a clay furnace, the cosmopolitan chef creates dishes that celebrate tradition and local ingredients, including herbs and owers. To just eat a simple seasonal salad, picked at their home garden, is a great pleasure: no wonder the taste is so full, since it contains so many different little leaves and owers!
