The indigenous Gorizia chicory, the most beautiful winter vegetable that looks like a rose blossom is called regut in the village of Solkan. The osteria owned by two families was therefore rightly called »The House of Suken Regut« since they offer this specialty in almost a hundred different ways. They cook according to nonna’s old recipes, taking a step forward and seeking new experiences and daring tastes. They age their sparkling wines in the crystal clear spring water that ows into the river Soča under their terrace.
