Almost three decades ago, Franc Bukovnik, his wife Neža and chef Joca started baking the Hotemaže kruhki ( filled breadsticks). And the rest is history, as we could say in the style of American success stories: this Carniolan invention became famous near and far. Their recipe is still a very strongly kept secret, which only a few chosen ones know. In 2012, they bought a stone mill so the wholesome our is made fresh every day and thus they get the best basis for these famous kruhki.
