Helena and Tomaž Žerovnik made sure that Ljubno has started to develop in a culinary way by opening a boutique hotel and a restaurant. The guests are mainly foreigners: fishermen, hikers, athletes and fans of women’s ski jumping and when it comes to the locals, they are mostly businessmen and fans of great desserts. Traditional and homemade is the common thread of their plates, which are based on local ingredients but always flirt with elements of modern cuisine. They serve lunches and tasting menus, from three to eight courses. For three dishes, we paid 33 euros and five courses, for example, will cost you 49. The service is very friendly and the wine list with wines mostly from Primorska, are an excellent company to the dishes.
