Things have changed a lot since new generation took over. The excellent grilled meat this house was famous for is still just as excellent, but nowadays the emphasis is on recreating the regional cuisine (Dolenjska, Bela Krajina, Bizeljsko) with a strong personal touch. Positive emotions and optimism prevail in the staff’s attitude. Four different tasting menus (from 4 to 7 dishes) offer a detailed insight into house philosophy. The wine list offers some serious surprises for a wine geek, all at very friendly markups - again, emphasis is on the regional champions striving to make their name.
