The restaurant is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Tuškanac forest, so the atmosphere is quite relaxing. It is particularly beautiful in the summer, when you can sit on a beautiful terrace in the deep shade of trees, while the view of the surrounding forest through the large glazed walls makes for the most beautiful decoration. The interior is very comfortable, simple and modern. The lighting is dimmed and the setting luxurious. The tables are set up very discreetly and ensure uninterrupted enjoyment of food and conversation. The wine list of the restaurant is quite extraordinary and includes countless Croatian and foreign wines, presented by country and region, with many special types of wines, such as sweet dessert wines and those produced with special methods, as well as sparkling wines and champagne. The restaurant staff, especially the knowledgeable sommelier, will recommend the best wine pairings for your dishes. They offer a modern presentation of traditional dishes, mainly Mediterranean, but also continental cuisine, prepared from seasonal foods obtained from small local producers. The lunch menu is somewhat different from the dinner menu and also more reasonably priced. However, some dishes from the dinner menu are also available for lunch. There is a range of inventively prepared fish and meat dishes, fresh fish and aged meat produced locally or from abroad. The salad of superbly paired juicy swordfish confit and refreshing quinoa seasoned with mayo and grated horseradish is a delicious light lunch. Although there are plenty of meat dishes available, there is also a variety of pasta dishes, such as tagliatelle with an interesting combination of sausage and pecorino cheese, rich in flavours and with just enough spiciness to counterbalance a rich sauce texture. A special treat is the excellent selection of desserts made by pastry chef Robert Bašić, which change depending on the season and the availability of ingredients. The rich banana cream was a great complement to the refreshing banana and yogurt ice cream, full of creamy flavour, while whole roasted hazelnuts and an interesting hazelnut sponge added to the overall dessert structure. The presentation of the desserts is also quite extraordinary. The entire ambience is conducive to a whole range of food and wine enjoyment opportunities, from light lunches with a glass of selected wine on the summer terrace, to enjoying a delicious tasting menu with matching wines, which can extend way into the night.
